ipcc query

i came to know from my friends that [if i register for group 1 and group 2 of ipcc(with articles), i can start my articleship after passing group 1 of my ipcc i.e from february 2011 i.e no need to clear to group 2 for doing articleship from february 2011 ]and [ if i register for group 1 and group 2 of ipcc (without articles)] than i can start my articleship only if i clear both group of ipcc] so if i cant clear group 2 in november examthan i have to wait for another six months to pass for clearing group 2 than i can do articleship

correct me if i am wrong its urgent
