Ipcc nov 12 service tax. changes in pot applicable or not?
Are changes in Point Of Taxation rules applicable for nov. 12 ?
Rtp includes the changes to POT but also mentions on the last page that "POT as covered in the study material will apply for nov 12" which (in my opinion) means the old one. I know there are just minor changes.

As per latest notification of ICAI, it's only the earlier specified 8 taxable services will not be applicable for Nov examination of 2012, whereas remaining other prescribed syllabus is applicable. This is my analysis after reading notification, it is better to contact ICAI for further more clarity or wait for experts advice.
