help me out ,how should i prepare for income tax for my may 2010 ipcc attempt,please........

u should learn all the provisions for getting good marks if u find it difficult, then go for service tax and vat prepare it good so that u can get 20/25 and in income tax u can leave some prov. if u find diff. to manage time for it

plan ur study by going through scanner and see whats imp. whats not

i suggest that don't leave anything if u can manage time for it but if u can't that plan ur study with the help of scanner and do prepare service tax and vat (prepare well so that u can expect 20/25 marks)

learn latest amentment., learn all provisions.

Dear friend,

The best way to prepare for IPCC is by making sure u do VAT and Serv tax well..it can easily fetch u 50 marks..for VAT there is nothing much other than reading the study material..For S.T study the 5 services pretty well..probs can come from tat.. So u ll be assured of 50 marks.

About IT understand all the sections well..even if it fetches u less marks taking into proportion its volume its highly appreciated u do it well cos its what u ll mainly need after ur exams..

first prepare vat and service tax and then amendments and after that all small chapters like clubbing, set off c/f, residential ...and so on...this way, u will gain confidence, which i think u r lacking right now.........
