Ipcc attempt query

hello friends i hav one query please clarify.

i got ipcc first attempt eligibility in nov 2011 but i did not file an examination form . now in may 2012 i am appearing for 1st group and i am confident of passing. now if i pass in may2012 will it be regarded as my first attempt or 2nd attempt according to icai... please clarify
