how much salaries can one gets if he clears his ca final....

1. IN IOCL, and

2. IN DELOITTE

AND which one is better...? in terms of salaries and future aspects...?

(means min to max salaries given to an accounts officer in ths two firms)

actually ma di just passed her ca final ths jan...and got two job letters from ths two co.'s

so i thought if i wd know smthng abt ths...thn i wud be able to help her...actually she thnks that she is very smart and i donno know anything about better jobs and all that...so i wanna take out ths thought frm her mnd...so plz help within 2-3 days...

and ya IOCL is INDIAN OIL CORPORATION LTD..

IOCL Salary Range will be between 6-8 Lacs p.a.

Deloitte Salary Range is between 5.50-6.50 lacs p.a.

Personally I feel joining IOCL is better for the obvious reasons of stability and Job Security. Oil and Gas is currently one of the resurgent sectors in the economy of today and hence a career investment in this field will be a step in the right direction. Audit may look appealing in the begining so to speak but later on it will become a drudgery of sorts with unearthly work hours slowly being the order of the day not to mention the immense pressure of deadlines.

But it depends on her aptitude and more importantly attitude. if she is willing to work hard and slog and if she wants to be exposed to various industries then audit is a good choice else join the Industry.

Btw i chose industry over audit since I was really frustrated with the Audit sector and i am not complaining at all. hope this helps.
