Yes sir you have to maintain billwise details for all purchases. Whether from registered or unregistered, whatever the case may be.
GST council said purchase details need not be filled for Quarter 4 of FY 2017-18 as the form GSTR-4 showed errors while trying to upload with purchase details. But you may be required to put purchase details once the form is corrected.
So its necessary you maintain purchase bills.
