Is Interest on GPF above 250000 taxable?

if i contribute Rs. 300000 in GPF Per Annum. Interest on GPF amount of Ra. 300000 are taxable
accumulated interest i get above 250000 in an year... is taxable....?

Interest on GPF is taxable only when the interest amount received on the annual contribution amount exceeds of Rs. 2500000.- during the year.
