for a.y-2008-09 notice of demand reason is salaried person with housing int.income filled return in ITR-1 instead of ITR-2 which not showing in filled return now what to do write simple letter with necessary paper like form-16 which clearly mentioned hus.loan int.deduction and submit or any other procedure for this correction

U can move an application u/s 154 for rectification of intimation becos of mistake apparent from records.....
Filing of Revised return in ITR 2 can also be one option.......
I would suggest u to move an application along with a copy of revised return in ITR 2
