Sir,

You should discussion with Consultant and Concern Officer and make the reply of subject to matter and submitted the same in the department and follow the same.

Mr. Patel

now you are not eligible to file revise return but you have an option u/s 154 for rectification.

just file an rectification u/s 154 (2) online by mentioning your all the facts of mistake.

ONLY REMEDY IS PAY THE BALANCE U CANT RECTIFY THE SAME IT IS YOUR MISTAKE BEFORE SIGNING U SHOULD SEE THE SAME AS TAX RETURN IS FILLED CORRECTLY. I THINK YOU SIGNED BLINDLY NOW NO OPTION BROTHER

I think it not a mistake while filing the return of income, it is a mistake in the intimation from the income department received by you. If this is the case, u can very well rectify the mistake under s*xtion 154 of the income tax act. If u or your consultant are not able to do it, you can contact me on 09324534879, to get the resolution of your query.

Sir, I request you to check the following before you proceed for rectification:

(1) Check whether you had claimed any deduction under Section 80G in your Income tax return.      Many employers do not consider the mentioned secction for the purpose of TDS on salary.

(2) Check whether you had any income chargeable to tax other than Income under the head        "Salaries" like interest on Savings Bank, Fixed deposit, gains arising from transfer of securities etc., which might not be existing on the date of giving Investment proof to your employers. But, it might have arised after the submission of proofs.

(3) Ensure that clubbing of income provisions of Income Tax Act, have not been applied if the same is not applicable to you.

I hope the above suggestions are helpful.
