it's very important to have command over AAs and As. a relative performance is counted so one need to prepare well. with lots of confidence.that's all abt top firms. little knowledge of tax is expected but TDS is a issue. that will make you to top firms

In case of Top Firms, they want to check the communication skills, presence of mind, overall personality of the candidate, some knowledge of TDS, Computer Knowledge basically excel and word. In case of Mediocre firms, they just check your communication skills. In case of small firms, they don't check anything. Just go and they will definitely select you. For Top firms and Mediocre firms, You should have the knowledge of the recent amendments in Income Tax, Fluency in English Speaking. Top Firms starts with G.D. followed by an interview. It all depends on the firm. In the medium firms if they take interviews they ask basic knowledge about each and every paper. However in big firms they might conduct written tests also.
