if any register company purchased goods Rs 3 Lakh from interstate party without road permit issued, is there any penalty raised at the time of assessment.

it is mandatory company should have road permit papers while making intersalespurchases, lorry receipt ,deliverychallan , road permit papers, otherwise it will treated as smuggling goods without any road permit.during sales tax assessent sales tax officer will issue interest & penalty to maximum 30% to 70% as their situations.
