09 September 2016Claiming tax benefits under DTAA? What is required To claim this benefit, whether we need Form 10F, a tax residency certificate and self declaration in the prescribed format to the entity responsible for deducting tax at source. We can't avail benefit as per DTAA without the above things in place ? Am I right ?

Yes one can not avail benefits of rates under DTAA without the above mentioned documents apart from that one may also need to submit a self attested copy of his/her PAN card.
