Internal audit for construction company
Hello Everyone,
I have an interview of Internal Auditor for construction company please advise what exact preparation should i do like, which AS, SA. Please provide the any resource or documents if you have in relation to construction company

In construction compnmay mostly AS7 would be asked, as they follow the same AS.
Also go through sec 194IA of TDS.
You can also go through service tax under work contract and construction contract.

In construction company mostly AS 17 would be asked and also prepare for guidance note on real estate developers as both AS and Guidance note are different and applicable in different situations. (AS applicable for contractor and guidance note for developers/builders).
Prepare yourself for tds provisions, sales tax provisions of that state, labour laws, service tax under works contract and construction contract.
In interview for the post of internal auditor of construction company commonly asked questions are how to check salary and labour charges, applicability of labour laws, terminology of construction industry.
