Internal Audit ?????

Suggest her to do articleship in a mid-sized firm which will offer her various fields in Taxation, instead of doing it in a Large scale firm where work is divided into departments.

Internal Audit is one of the main branches in Audit, but if you do 2-3 Internal Audits you easily get the experience, no need to go for full time Internal Audit.

It will be better to do articleship in a midsized firm wherein you can get to know about the nature of all type of work .This will help us to understand which is our area of interest ....

but u also do same in big firm

She should go for a stat & Tax audit, internal audit is good but not enough in CA profession

ask her to go towards tax.... and do in big firms itself.. that will help her in shaping her carrer well... the level of exposure she may get is very big.. and in tax section she can learn a lot and u need a lot of exp in that section, which she may not get in any mid or small firms... TAX aor statute is advisable....

I think she is very fortunate to get into the Internal audit department coz through it only we can get a thorough understanding of the entire functioning of an organization which inturn helps in the future if she shifts to a Stat audit. 

yup .midsize firms are  the way to go

ask her to join a mid size firm so that u get experiance of all areas of work be it stat ,internal, tax, management audits,taxation work

as a CA u are expected to have a knowlage in all areas concerning you

I hve done ma articleship in a firm which is specilised in internal audit. Internal audit is very good filed it give understanding of system of the company. If your f;ds want to go for practise in future then she has not to choose d same otherwise in ma opinion it is good for her.

hey,in a chartered firm dere r verieties of work to b done which include stat audit,,internal audit,, ABC audit,,stock audit,, bank audit n many more.if d firm u r joining has all types of work den join widout any tens oderwise leave d firm. rest think urself caz u hv also ur own mind but b4 joining think 100 times.
