Interim dividend

I don't think so Interim Dividend for the period 2013 -14 can be paid before 31st March 2013.

No, Shweta Interim Divi is declared & paid in the CY itself. After preparing Interim Accounts, adequecy of profits is adjudged & thereafter Interim Div is declared and paid. Also the time gap between  declaration and payment is not more than 10-15 days.

If you declare interim dividend before 31.03.2012 then it will interim dividend for the year 2011-12.
