In any amnesty scheme or something else is there any interest waiver or interest benefit/relaxation (reduction in rate of interest) was available for GST returns for the FY 17-18, 18-19 and 19-20.
please guide.

Till date no such notification or scheme issued by Government
There is no interest waiver but benefit for interest on ITC is given that interest will be charged only if it is both availed and utilised

Dept has given interest waiver for late filing for the said years . But they have given specific time .
Even we have paid interest and it got credited back to electric cash ledger at that time.
But now it is doubtful

Namrata go through the amnesty scheme once more.
No Interest waiver was introduced by the department.
They only introduced an amnesty scheme for the late filing fee.
No amnesty scheme is prevailing now, so you can't opt it.
Seperate scheme was not there but relaxation was given to encourage non filers to file GSTRs without late fee and interest
