Officer can block your ITC & can recover by debiting from your bank account.
So it's better to reply the Notice or contact to your jurisdiction tax officer

Hello, if you filed the return late, that implies that you paid the GST to govt late, so the amount that was outstanding that you paid in Cash, is liable for interest, that you manually need to enter in GSTR 3B.
