Hello,
I am filing my taxes for FY 2012-13 and ICICI bank statement has interest credited for the period of 29-02-2013 to 31-08-2013. I am not sure how to get the numbers for the taxes for only for the month of March 2013. Since I need to declare interest for only this month. Can I divide by number of monhts and take the average output? This may not be acceptable since savings bank interest is depending on the balances and it would have varied over six months.
