I like the story very much. I was just so sad about the boy who gave his eyes to her. He should have told her in the first place. Communication is really very important in any relationship.

To the panchendriyas given by nature Knowledge and Money gives any body tremondous capacity to be the centre point to the world.

In the present day situation we  see so many people going abroad leaving their parents at home / in old age homes.

The parents though face difficulties are happy because they are so much useful to the society as much as their earnings (which their son / daughter cannot had he / she remained with  them)

when you do not have enough knowledge and Money

--to be the centre point to a function in your family

                                          - in a office / professional fileld   

                                         - in a village leadership

If you have money and professional competence won't you leave your family alone and run for a place to be the centre in that field / activity. / Will you be stopped by your near and dear though you are not going to within their site for few years.
