Industrial Training & 3 Months Residential Programme

 the answer to ur this, lies in the question itslf...

as u have said, " an Article Assistant can opt for Industrial Training in the last year of his training, for a period not less than 9 months."

This clearly means that Both Industrial Training & 3-months training cannot be done together in the last 9 months of the Articleship.BUT who's stopping u frm doing the 3-months resi programme b4 those last 9 months, in ur entire period of being a CA Final student?

But as u can understand, the seats for the Resi programme are limited. So a candidate who has passed his Final, will get more preference for the same...and that cant happen b4 the last yr of articleship...

Thus, what u have said, might b possible on paper, but may not be practically feasible in most of the cases....

To conclude.... if im lucky enough to grab a seat for the 3 Months Residential Programme before starting my Industrial Training, I would be enjoining the best of both worlds. Right??

I would like to clarify here that even if you have opted and started your industrial training,you can still do the residential programme.I have confimed this from institute.

The only issue would be that whether the company in which you are doing your IT would grant you leave or not but still they cannot forcefully restrict you as they are governed by the regulations of ICAI.

i have completed my articleship for 2 years and appeared in ca-final nov.2008 exam. Further, i m looking for industrial training as early as possible.

yes u can do both

as for industrial training minimum period requirement is 9months

and balance 3 months can be devoted to residential course

But be careful abt the timings
