hi all...

im currenly an article trainee and i want to do industrial training.....i have my articleship left till jan 2010....i wanted to know that as institute has banned transfers within the same city...will i be able to take industrial training.... in the same city where i am taking articleship training...plz reply

Hi Remya... in the first place, you should have a minimum of 9 months (excluding extention of articles caused by various reasons) of Articles left to do your industrial training. i guess you are a little short of nine months which makes it hard for you to do Industrial training.

By the way....

It is true that ICAI has banned transfers, but then one should also remember that there are few exceptions to it.

I would also like to make you aware that Transfer is different from termination. If you are opting in for industrial training, you have to terminate your articleship and not transfer as you said.
