Hi Kundu, irs is a good option for a CA. Cracking civils exam is not that much difficult as we think, as my cousin appeared for civils exam for 4 times and he attended personal interview 3 times but due to lack of communication skills he is not selected. But before u think about IAS or IRS i want u to know that in civil services u cannot even earn a salary that fetches u a good house if u work for 30 years. If u really want to serve india and not expecting anything in return please write civils exam otherwise dont think of it. Because almost 80% of irs officers are highly corrupted. But another interesting thing is if u are selected for irs and do service for minimum 4-5 years and u are not satisfied with the salary, then private sector is ready to pay you minimum rs 1crore, this is real recently 4 or 5 irs officers who doesnt want to take bribes resigned to their jobs and joined private sector for heavy packages. So u first decide whether u want to earn or serve the country.

2 b honest i want 2 earn fist...serving d country comes next!!:p

hi dear is only revenue department is guilty of corruption? what about CA who tilted laws and then bribed officers to keep quiet.. are they equally guilty ot not
