Incorrect tan of the deductor on form16

Dear sir/ Madam, My brother is in Army and his form 16 shows incorrect TAN of the deductor at the time of filling Income Tax return.Due to that i am not able to file income tax returns.His tax tds deducted around Rs.60000 and he is filling first time income tax return.Pls tell me process.

Is the Form 16 is TRACES Portal generated? if not then ask from employer for this.

Thank you sir...But actually sir, He is currently working in Pune and he receive salary from bangalore. Pls tell how to contact to bangalore account Department for traces portal generated form 16 and what should be content in letter or mail.Pls guide sir...

First of all , who provde form16 to your brother, pune or bangalore office? You should contact the office where he is working and so that pune office can make application on employees behalf to accounts dept. in bagalore. For adequate correction in form 16.
