Hi All,
I got demand notice of Rs 92000 from Income tax department for the assesment 2010-2011.
From my side I verified 26AS form and found everything is correct (I have refund of around 10,000 for the year 2010-2011). There is no mismatch. I submitted application for rectification to Income tax department Hyderabad. They accepted the application and put a bar code on top of my application.
After a year when I went to the web site https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in and checked, it is still showing that demand notice.
Please advice what to do from here. Can I file RTI application.
