I received an intimation from IT dept nearly after a month of filing my ITR. They proposed an addition of income of about 2.3 lakh rupees. But i distinctly remember paying taxes for the whole income deducting the exemptions. I couldn't check the ITR i filed on incometaxefiling website. There was no option. How do I go about this? Because I disagree with them. Could someone please help? Will be grateful. I need a solution as soon as possible. I didn't receive any challan/notice to pay the remaining taxes for the 'additional'income they are claiming.
