For reseting password of income tax web portal, one can earlier deposit tax and request for OTP on new email and mobile. Now the tax deposit option has been taken away. One can only give TDS details or Bank account no. given in ITR for reseting password on new mobile and email. But it will be difficult to reset password where no online ITR has been filed, no TDS and mobile no. on Aadhar has closed.
