Income tax revised return query

Hello, in case you have filled e-return, you need to download excel utility once again and fill the return details again. Only where the the utility asks for return is original/ revised u need to change it to revised and provide the original details like: ack no, ack date. Also make change in the return to filled under section 139 (5). Once u are done and xml is generated, try uploading as u did for original return again.

Don't rectify the mistake in My account tab as it applicable for earlier assessment years.

U can file the revise return to correct the mistakes for the AY 2012-13 by uploading fresh file and select revised return in ITR form in which u need to mention ITR acknowledement No. of original return and date of filing.
