Quick Summary
If you sold a property purchased in 2010 for £100,000 and sold it in 2023 for £1,800,000, you must report the Long Term Capital Gain (LTCG) on your Income Tax Return for AY 2024-2025, provided the sale occurred in the financial year 2023-24. Remember to compute indexation for accurate tax calculation.

Yes, if sold in FY 2023-24.
