I've contacted them multiple times but it seems like they either dont want to help or genuinely have no clue about whats happening.

SBI says please contact CPC.

CPC says wait for some time.

I also raised a grievance through e filing portal only to receive a robotic response that the refund is under process.

Hi i got 143(1) mail today.. This year process is fast i submitted on 19the august.. Last year i waited nearly 11 months

Hi Sujith. I also have received the 143(1) notification on 30th Aug. But no progress on refund yet. Do you know how long this may take? Please keep me posted with the progress of your refund.

CBDT has issued a new circular on Thursday regarding faceless scrutiny and I guess the dept want to try it on the normal people, that’s the reason why they held back some of the returns
