Income tax return for bpl card holder

Income as per BPL card and income tax Act both are different things

for BPL person annual income is declared by person with aggregation of other dependent members of family , for Income tax purpose only his income is considered for tax purpose

 suppose in a particulars year he has sold land owned by him the he may need to file IT return but he will be in BPL category
