I need an information regarding income tax filing for A. Y 2017 -18, can I file the same now(F. y 2021 22 ) if not is there any option to file or claim tds of A. y 2017 18. please suggest me to claim the tds ( tds on sale of property).

Effective from the FY 2017-28, a late filing fee will be applicable for filing your returns after the due date under section 234F. ... If you file your ITR after the due date (30th Sep) but before 31 December, a penalty of Rs 5000 will be levied.

You need to approach CBDT under section 119(2) of the Income-tax Act, 1961
@ JGM, can you please suggest me the process and how long it will take for CBDT to accept.
It is a time consuming process. An application needs to be filed with the CBDT.
