Hi Priya,

Please note that the time limit for filing the Belated return ( AY 2018-19) reduced from the

"One Year from the end of the relevant assessment year ( 31st March, 2020)" to "The End of assessment year (31st March, 2019)"

So, for AY ( 2018-19)..........Belated return can be filed within the end of the assessment year ( 31st March 2019).

However, for AY 2019-20....Belated return can be filed within 31st March, 2020

1. No in normal provisions. The date of filling (belated return) is 31/03/2019. it's already passed...

2. No... The said AY start from today (1st April 19) onwards. The ITR forms not available &/ Dept also not ready.
We can file after confirmation from ITD...
