Sir I filled ITR 4. but i did not file it in accounts maintained case, I filled it under No books of account case. however I got notice under section 139 (9) of defective return. Please suggest me the way to get this problem solved. And also if I am filling new itr in response to 139 (9) it is asking for three things mandatorily.
notice no.; date of notice; receipt no.;
I have notice and find date of notice but rest two things I don't know where to find?

Try to stick to the query raised for the defect. Generally, solution provided in the notice itself.
For filling the revised return follow the procedure given in attachment.

1st option - if it is possible to file revise return - then revised it by filling bs and p and l details.
2nd option - filing in response to section 139(9) - you said you have notice. then date of notice and receipt no must be in it.
