One of my acquaintances has e-filed his Income Tax return for AY 2014-15 without digital signature. Now since he has to send a signed copy of his acknowledgment to CPC Bangalore, he is not finding time to do that. What is the impact of not sending the acknowledgment within 120 days to Bangalore and what options do the assessees have in such a case?

It will be considered as you have not filed te return and if you are liable to file the return a penalty for non filing of retunrn may be levied.
