Income tax registration

Hi all,

I have unique issue with one of my client. He is filinng income tax return for the first time and hence trying to register to income tax website. He has PAN against which his employed has deduceted tax; he holds PAN with him which mentions his date of birth.

However, while registering on income tax website, it gives an error as incorrect date of birth. I have registered complaint with Income tax, NSDL, UTI with no response (over a month). Can someone suggest how to proceed.
