Income tax refund return
Dear Members
My client refund through ECS has been rejected because of acoount closure.
1.should i write a letter to ITO or Banglore CPC.
2.should i go for 154
Please guide me regards this

Write to the AO along with the proof of closure of bank account and the details of the new bank account.

login to incometax site and go to my account section and go to to refund re issue request fill all the details and send it to CPC.
nothing to do in paper..
do as per kangaraj says, request online refund re-issue with bank details change you will get around in one month in your bank or cheque issue..
Hiii shilpa go for a Incometax site and select a refund issue request take a prinout of this and filled the mandatory column and attached a new bank cancelled cheque and send IT to cpc banglore
