The outstanding demand will not notify the amount to be paid.
If there is delay in filing return of income then interest will be applicable under section 234.

The demand being shown in e-filing portal is updated. You are required to check in worklist and pay the challan using demand identification no.

Log into your e filing portal using your pan no.
from there go to outstanding demand and pay.

Kuch interest pay nahi karana.
Rs. 1800 demand jo sahi he (apke hisab se), to pay karke, online reply me challan ka details dal do.

You will have to contact your assessing officer and submit all your relevant documents along with rectification application. In case the demand is raised by CPC then file rectification online
