I get one income tax assessment order - for short term capital gain 9339/- , when i file the return the short term capital gain get rebate under 87A according to the Computax software - but Department not giving relief u/s 87A - is there any other way I can get the rebate - please advise

I advise you to find out the answer at the tax advisory offices where you are registered. Because the issue of income tax in each area has certain different decisions. Maybe everyone's advice will be right but not applicable to the area you are choosing to do business.
