Hello Experts,

My employer had send me to work abroad in Finland on 20 th Jan 2014 up to 30th Nov 2014.

I am little confused about my residential status and tax liabilities .

I have following questions ?

Q1 - Do i need to pay tax in india for FY 2013-2014 on the income i earned in Finalnd (from Jan to March 2014)?

Q2 - If yes, what will happen to the tax i have already paid here in Finland from Jan to March 2014

Q3 - I am returning back to India on 30th Nov 2014 . Do i need to again pay taxes on my Finland Income from Apr 2014 to Nov 2014 in India ??

Appreciate your help and suggestions Please .

I think consult a CA . Because it requires more details and insights into your income, tax paid there in Finland, taxation agreement of India and Finland. All the best.

Thanks for your reply. I will definitely consult a CA at the time of filling the tax ..to validate how much tax i need to pay etc .. But just wanted to understand the general prinicipal on foreign tax matters from tje experts here. Thanks. Any other suggestions pls ...anyone Regards
