Dear all,

Pls help me about TDS notice

I got a notice from Income tax that in A.Y.2010-2011, TDS data available in 26AS is total TDS of Rs.2900386/- and We have claimed TDS of Rs. 2797556/- while we filled the return, now they asking for furnish the details for why balance amount has not taken ?

Now my situation is that as i Have booked TDS amount in my book that is Rs. 2797556/- in between this amount Rs.319026/- has taken as per I received TDS certificate from party but this amount is not showing in 26AS

and amount Rs.544584/- is showing in 26AS which is not showing in my book due to some amounts I have taken in next year and some not taken due to certificate not received.

Now actual difference amount I am getting is Rs. 225828/-

can any one suggest me what I can do now ??

get immediate help of an CA of your city, as it looks that your accounts are maintained as per law, mercantile system. and as the amount is big, there must be 3cd submitted which can be challanged in case of any wrong representation.
