Income tax audit accepted after due date
If the income tax audit is accepted after the due date or is rejected by mistake, is there any way to avoid any penalty?

The penalty for tax audit is discretionary and not compulsory..so in all probability penalty will not be levied on you on the basis of practice prevalent in industry
