HELLO , IM A STUDENT APPEARING FOR PE2 EXAM THIS NOVEMBER 2008 , i am not aware of the changes and ammendments relevant for the income tax and central sales tax . i had heard that there had been such ammendments for CST and the income tax theory ( appeals, assesment procedures etc etc ) ,salary perquisites.
can anyone please post the neccesary changes , ammendments in income tax and cst relevant to pe2 exam for this november 2008 ?

The assessment year 2008-09 would apply for nov 08. The same assessment year was applied for May 08. So there is no need of amendments if you had appeared for may 08.
I want the ammendments for the assessment year 2008-09
i heard CST rate changed to 2% from 3% , is that applicable for pe2 november 2008?
