Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the challenge of filing income tax returns for a client who hasn't filed for the past decade, despite TDS deductions by the bank. Experts debate the applicability of condonation of delay for such a long period. While one expert suggests it's not applicable, another indicates that filing might be possible with bonafide reasons, especially if the tax refund quantum justifies the effort and cost involved. The advice leans towards exploring genuine reasons for the delay to potentially claim refunds for some years.
