The income mentioned under 'Amount Paid/Credited' in part A of form16 is not same as 'Total income' mentioned in part B of form 16. But the tax amount is same in both part A and part B.
Should both be same or in what case it could differ?
Can I go ahead with the figure 'Gross Total Income' in part B to enter income details 'Income from Salary/Pension' to file ITR ?
While eFiling ITR1, can 'Income under Salary' in Sch TDS 1 section be different than 'Income from Salary/Pension' ?
