I think you are asking for Importer Exporter Code is it... shortly says IEC
It is mandatory for Importer and exporter who intends to do export and import business.
It is allotted by DGFT (Director General of Foreign Trade) applied through online mode and manual mode.
search dgft.gov.in you will get the from there
