When any Share Certificate is required to be splitted on the request of the owner of share certificate, are the splitted share certificates to be issued in the name of the transferee or in the name of transferor and to write name of transferee in memo. of transfers, back side of the share certificate?

Share Certificates is to be issued in the name of original shareholder then the name of Transferee is to be affixed on the back of certificate as in the case of transfer.

Agreed with Ankur. The share certificates after splitting shud bear the name of the original shareholder. the transfer has to be endorsed at the back of the share certificate.
the original share certificate is o be cancelled.
