Gmail has now a new feature called "2 step sign in". You can see this in settings menu.

If you enable this feature, then you have to first enter your password and then you will receive a code in your mobile and then you will have to enter that code and then only you can open you account.

This means only you can open your account and no person in the world can hack your account even if he / she knows your password. Now no one can open you account with your real password also. This means simple that it is impossible to hack your Gmail account now if you are using this feature.
