Import of software through internet mode ( downlodable file)

Dear All,

We are procuring a software , which is simply a downloadable file.

Our company is based in bangalore :

We have initiated the PO for the same & are awaiting the porforma invoice

Following are my queries:

As the amount transfer is done from a indian bank, bank has asked for these set of documents :

FEMA declaration:

Letter of Authority to debit the account

OGL declaration

IE Code

HS Code ( mandatory)

1) Is IE code & HS code mandatory ? as we wont be going through customs

This is our first such transaction

Your kind help is required.
