Hi,

I have query on import of Software. We are importing a software from an NRI company and selling to an end user in local. Now my query is

1. Whether import of software through email to be intimated to the customs?

2. If yes can we have a format, since Bank is asking for it.

3. Do we need to file CA Certificate certifying the import of Software to the Bank?

Anybody in the panel please clarify.

1. For every import filing of Bill of Entry is mandatory.

2. Give Bill of Entry Customs printed copy to the bank as proof of import.

3. CA Certification not required Bill of Entry is enough as proof of import.
