IFRS and US GAAP

Dhanashree, as regards final syllabus its really sufficient to have a brief Idea about IFRS n USGAAP. In this nov it was due to mandatory compliance due by Ind Inc listed in UK n US by 2011, so much questions were there on these topics. But now position is different, the time limit for compliance is extended for three years. Therefore In my opinion there should not be stress on thses topics again in the forthcoming attempts.

    However if u have sufficient time for preparation u can use M.P. Vijaykumar Accounting Standards book. There is comparison of Ind AS, IFRS n USGAAP after each accounting standard. It will be really sufficient from point of view of final exam. I have used this book n cleared my final in this nov exam in first attempt. Hope the information will be usefull for u in studies.
